Frequently Asked Questions

When is the best time for a Session?
If you have little ones in the session we recommend waiting until they can sit unaided at around 6 months. Outside of this please be aware that certain times of the year are very busy (the run-up to Christmas for example) and so advance booking is recommended.

How long do studio sessions last?
Sessions have up to a full hour to give plenty of time for different family combinations and groups. We can include individuals, smaller groups and portraiture of everyone together too.

What training and experience do you have?
With two decades of experience in the photography industry, and over 4000 studio sessions since opening my Arbroath studio, I have built a great reputation as one of the top studios in the country, recently winning Family Photographer Of The Year and Newborn Photographer Of The Year 2021 for North East Scotland. On top of this, I update my training regularly on everything from local first aid courses to training one on one with the industry’s top photographers.

When should I book?
The diary can fill up fast, so it’s always best to get in touch as early as possible.
